REGIONAL DIRECTORATE OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (RDSDE), Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh has established on April 2019 to ensure effective, integrated development and monitoring of Skill Training and Apprenticeship training at the Union Territories of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh under Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
The Central Field Institutes viz; National Skill Training Institute (Women), Jammu & National Skill Training Institutes, at Srinagar and Leh are under the administrative control of RDSDE, Jammu. The Regional Director of RDSDE, Jammu is also designated as Regional Apprenticeship Advisor in terms of Section 27 of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
