"REGIONAL DIRECTORATE OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (RDSDE) JAMMU & KASHMIR  AND LADAKH", JAMMU  was established in April 2019 to ensure effective, integrated development and monitoring of Skill Training and Apprenticeship training at the Union Territories of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh under the Directorate General of Training(DGT),  Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.                                                    

 “ RDSDE, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh ”, under the Regional Director, is headquartered at Jammu (UT of Jammu & Kashmir)  with the inclusion of one  Central Field Institute (CFI): National Skill Training Institute (Women), Jammu  and  its  2 extension Centers i) NSTI Extension Centre at Srinagar (UT of J&K )  and  ii)  NSTI Extension Centre at Leh (UT of Ladakh ) under the jurisdiction of RDSDE, Jammu.

 The Regional Director of RDSDE, Jammu is also designated as Central  Apprenticeship Advisor (CAA) in terms of Section 27 of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
